The ski slope at Yad joss, just outside Alston is run by members of the Carlisle ski club, it?s location is little over an hours drive from Carlisle and ideal for those living in the north of England that want to go skiing or those that fancy a change from further afield.
{josimage}Alston is a small English village in an excellent position to access other ski resorts such as Allenheads and Swinhope as well. With its quaint cobbled streets, hotels and B&B?s its ideal for a quite little break from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Some of the local shops even provide ski hire, so can you keep those lovely new carvers for next season in the Alps. Ski hire can also be provided by a variety of winter sports shops in Carlisle for those coming from the north. |
