Glencoe plan to open at 8.30am this Saturday, with not just one lift as is usual for the first day of a resort opening, they plan to open the whole mountain as far as the lifts are concerned. On Saturday Glencoe plan to open Mugs Alley, Canyon, The Wall, Happy Valley, Main Basin, Spring Run and The Fly paper feed by the whole lift network. Lifts will open tomorrow (Friday) depending on demand and the weather situation.
The forecast for Saturday and Sunday is looking good with sunny spells throughout the day and the odd occasional snow shower expected during Saturday. Finally what looks like a good if a little late start to the Season for Glencoe. {joscomment} |
