Sheffield gets the go ahead |

Plans for building the UKs biggest artificial snow slope in Sheffield has been given the green light by the local councillors. The 80 million pound project will see the creation of a 300m long slope with colour coded runs, transportation will be provided up the slope by a gondola and accommodation will be in alpine style chalets situated nearby.
