Drifting snow in the Highlands of Scotland is continuing to keep roads closed in the Grampian and Northern Regions. Police in the Grampian area are advising drivers to stick to main roads or avoid travelling if possible as road closures reach double figures.  In the Northern region the snowfall has proved less hazardous although there are still road closures, the A830 Lochailort to Arisaig and Fort William to Mallaig is closed due to heavy snowfall as is the A939 Grantown to Forres road.

For full details on current road closures please visit traffic Scotland at www.trafficscotland.org
